BOLERO

As it is known, this composition of Ravel with Maurice Bejart has been placed in the history of dance as a ritualistic cult. As an artist of Middle Eastern origin, in this work Ziya Azazi refers to Bejart's Bolero with his progressive dance terminology and ritualistic fiction based on repetition and whirling. Azazi presents this cult of the west to the audience with the taste of the east and aims to remind the audience that life is an inevitable change and transformation from birth to death, in a short ritualistic atmosphere.
